Welcome to the ONLINE Driving Course.

This course consists of 30 hours of instructions.  Course is provided by the AA Plus Driving School in affiliation with National Driver Training

Our Normal Business Hours are:

Monday - Friday 9:00am - 8:00pm

Saturday and Sunday 9:00am - 6:00pm

This program consists of at least thirty (30) hours of instructions and includes components about alcohol safety, drug abuse awareness, aggressive driving, distracted driving, pedestrian and bicycle safety, handicapped parking, fuel efficient driving practices, motorcycle awareness and organ and tissue donation awareness as required by law.


You must be at least 15 years and 6 months of age to take the online driver education course. All individuals who elect to take the classroom component of the driver education course online must take the online course through a DMV licensed driver training school. Home¬schooled students are exempt from this requirement


In order to benefit from the course, you must be able to work independently and be comfortable with using a computer.

Registering for Online Course

Once you've registered with the Driving School and made payment, you will receive an email from the Driving School.

The email will contain the user name, password, and link to enter the

course:   http://www.usdrivertraining.com/login-va.php

Be sure to check your "Spam" or "Junk" folder if you don't receive the email within an hour.

You are now ready to begin online course as instructed.





Steps to login to begin online course

Once you receive the email and password, click on the link provided and enter the username and password and you may begin the course

  • Course is completely self-paced and you'll complete on your own time, with or without feedback from the Driving School.

  • AA Plus Driving School may contact you, if your progress is not sufficient.      

  • You as a student are required to complete ALL Sections/Modules of the course and complete end of the Section/Module tests.  In the case you do not pass any test, you'll be prompted to review the materials again and repeat the test.  This process can be repeated several times until you are successful.

Taking the Final Exam:  

After you have completed the entire course, you'll need to come to the Driving School and you must bring the following to the test site: AA Plus Driving School will provide a computer for testing.

  • Photo identification (DMV issued identification card, school issued identification card, valid passport or military identification).

  • Proof of completion of the online driver education course.

  • A completed "Parental Consent for Online Driver Education Examination" (DTS 62), if you are under the age of 18.

  • Proof of completion of the additional 90-minute parent/teen course if you are under age 18 and live in Planning District 8 (counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William and cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Manassas and Manassas Park).  If you do not have the 90-minutes parent/teen course, please contact AA Plus Driving School in Advance and we will arrange that at the driving school for you.

  • The Final Exam is closed books, closed notes, and you are not allowed to use other Internet Browser while taking the test.

  • The student takes the final examination online in the presence of the licensed instructor.

  • The course grades the test and reveals the results upon completion.  If the student passes the course, the instructor will receive the certificate of completion for that student.  This student may now continue with the behind-the-wheel portion of the course.

  • In case a student does not pass the final exam.  They may NOT take the final exam the same day.  They are required to come the following day or from there on any other day to take another attempt.  Final exam will NEVER be given to the same student twice in a day.
